Our first greenlaning event was in the Yorkshire Dales with friends we had met through an internet off roading club.
We camped in a field next to a pub at Helwith Bridge and it rained all night. The following day we set off in groups of 4 along the winding lanes.
We left good intervals between us so there were never too many of us on the lanes at once. Groups were changed about due to
breakdowns etc. and all in all we had a good time and made more new friends. This was to be the first of many trips to the Dales with several
different groups doing the same lanes, adding to them along the way or changing the routes slightly and generally stopping
for lunch in a pub along the way. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the experience.
